LETG is proud to announce that it has recently signed a Public Safety Software agreement with the Metropolitan Airport Commission on behalf of the Airport Police Department (APD) at the Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport (MSP).
The selection of LETG culminated an RFP selection process seeking a new Police Records Management System (RMS) that would better meet APD's current business needs and reporting requirements, in addition to providing accurate and real-time data exchange with Police mobile vehicles. The RMS is also required to provide for integration with APD's existing Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and provide the appropriate interfaces to other local, state and federal agencies.
"I believe the signing of this agreement further demonstrates the versatility of our RMS in that it is now used by sheriff's departments; police departments in cities, tribal, universities, transit and airports; and fire, EMS and state agencies" said David Norris, Chief Operating Officer of LETG. "We are honored to have the Airport Police Department as a customer."
Airport Police officers, licensed by the Minnesota Peace Officers Standards and Training Board, patrol the entire MSP campus, including the highways surrounding the airport, parking ramps, terminal buildings, roadways, and curbside area. The APD is made up of three divisions: Administrative, Investigations and Aviation Security. Chief Mark Rosenow oversees a staff of 150 employees.
